I’ve heard Home Depot and Lowes don’t have the best quality in lumber when it comes to fence supplies. Is there anywhere else in the North Carolina area that may have good lumber? Obviously it needs to be ready to go so I don’t have to cut it myself.
This is for a 6 foot privacy fence with 4×4 posts and dog eared pickets with 2×4 stringers.

My last contractor (who I am no longer in touch with) got me really good “premium” lumber at Home Depot which was relatively knothole-free. Going there today, even in the premium bin, nothing really looked good to me. Is there some other way/place to find really good quality lumber (for outdoor project). Thanks.
